How to make your application stand out

We receive a large number of applications from individuals who are interested in joining the Infinyte Club team. As fellow builders, we understand how frustrating it can be to not receive feedback or a response. Unfortunately, due to our small team and limited resources, it's not feasible for us to respond to each application individually.

Here are a few things that you can do to grab our eyeballs.

“What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” asked Mary Oliver and that’s exactly what we’d love to hear from you too.

💌 Make it personal

Putting in the hard yards before applying tells us that you are serious about working with us, tell us what tickles you about the work we are doing, and the problems we are aiming to solve. Tell us what you like, what you don’t and why you're specifically a good fit if you've worked on relevant stuff before – mention it! if you've met us before – let us know; if you landed on our careers page through someone who knows us or already works with us, call it out! Context is everything.

So, here's the deal: Let's highlight what really matters, shall we?

Make it quick, make it crisp, and make it memorable - make it stand out! Can you tell a story of your life and journey so far in 3 sentences or crunch the 20 years of work experience into a one-pager?

Here’s a no-no: “PFA my resume”. You know that neither you nor us would click on that!

Builders, Operators, Craftspersons of the Modern Tech Age - that’s who we are and that’s who we want to work with. Those who go the extra mile, craft an indelible experience, are unafraid of dreaming big and making it bigger. We heart people who spend their time obsessing about their passions and churning out great big, small or little side projects — small tools, apps, projects, side businesses etc.

So tell us, what gets you going! What have you launched into this big ol' world of ours? Flaunt those Github, Fiverr, Behance, Instagram Reels, or even your baking and plant projects that you've poured your heart and soul into. Oh, and don’t feel left out if that’s not how you roll. We’re equally eager to hear about the pride you felt from the first hundred bucks you made from that lemonade stall outside your house!

Please know that it's not necessarily a reflection of you. Maybe we found a fellow explorer better suited to the role, and have likely gone ahead with them instead. It’s – here’s to manifesting! – a long journey ahead for both of us, and we hope to keep crossing paths!

Do keep an eye on open roles and re-apply even if you have applied before and haven’t received a response.
